The LifeTime Skimmer is designed to last. The scoop portion of the skimmer is made from a highly flexible material that will resist cracking in cold temps below what you can physically tolerate. A simple squeeze of your hand or tap on the ice is all that's Needed to remove the ice. The handles are made from ultra light, heat treated aluminum and sport a convenient screen printed reference scale. This should be the last skimmer you need to buy, unless you lose it or your fishing partner happens to accidentally forget it's in his bucket...
