Shipping & Return Policy


Please note that current shipping, packaging and fuel costs are out of control and constantly changing. We did have to raise our rates to attempt to cover them.

We currently offer $7.99 Flat Rate Priority Mail/UPS 2-3 day shipping in the lower 48 states on most orders. Some heavy, **long or bulky products may have additional charges applied as part of the checkout process. However, you will have the opportunity to review the charges prior to completing the checkout process. However, in some rare cases, alternative shipping arrangements and/or charges may be required above what is charged at check out. In these rare cases you will be contacted by Sportsmen's Direct prior to shipping. If these proposed charges are not acceptable, you will be offered a refund. Note: Shipping services continue to be variable due to international economic issues like insanely high fuel prices. We have started using UPS for some longer/heavier packages or addresses on the East or west coast. In all cases we try to ship using the most reliable/efficient service at the time.

**We just recently set up tier pricing for orders with ice rods or rod blanks because USPS started adding a huge surcharge for items over 24". There is a price break point from $14.99 down to $7.99 when you hit 10 rod blanks and/or rods. Generally rods and blanks will be shipped using USPS Ground and Not Priority Mail..

We offer flat rate Canadian shipping of $24.99 for most orders. However, please note that packages weighing over 3 lbs or longer than 24" may require additional shipping. We are currently using Global Post through USPS. The customer will be responsible for taxes or duties charged by customs.

Products will generally be shipped from our facility within three business days of receiving your order. Shipping to Canada generally takes 7 to 12 business days to arrive but can be delayed further by customs. Due to the extra handling and transit times required for international shipments We will accept NO responsibility for damaged, lost or misdelivered international shipments. 

Expedited Shipping
We understand that there may be exceptions to our customers' needs for shipping, especially in the case of tournaments or trip scheduling. In those cases, please contact us and we can discuss other options.

In-Store Pick-Up
In-Store Pickup lets you buy items online and pick them up at our retail store. We offer this service for our customers who are within driving distance to our retail location and for those who may be traveling to the area on a trip.

If you were sent an incorrect item or you received an item damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately. If an item you ordered from Sportsmen's Direct Inc (SDI) does not meet your expectations, you can return it within 15 days of receiving it, provided the item is unopened and unused. 

Please contact us via email for specific instructions regarding the return.  Products returned without an RMA will not be eligible for credit of any kind. Failure to do so will forfeit any credit for shipping charges and/or product. If you are returning an unopened, unused, resalable product, you are responsible for both the return shipping cost and the cost of shipping the exchanged products back to you. A 20% restocking may be charged for returned items at the discretion of SDI.

If you are returning an incorrect product or a product damaged in shipping, we will issue a credit to you for any applicable shipping charges. You are responsible to make every effort to ship the product back safely, guarding against damage or breakage. If you are returning a product and do not want a replacement, your credit card will be credited once the item is received and restocked into our inventories. Credits will be processed in a timely manner once the return is received.

**Many manufacturers offer warranties on their products, which give the customer the right to purchase products that are free from defect. If you purchased a product that fails during normal use, we strongly urge you to take advantage of these warranties. Many manufacturers will not allow us to accept returned product on their behalf. As a part of our terms of business with these manufacturers, they require that customers file all warranty claims directly with them.If you have questions on the respective companies warranty please visit there website or give them a call.
