Whipping Rod Blank Only
The HWI Whipping Rod blank was developed for a special fishing technique called Whipping. This technique is used on the St Clair River near Port Huron Michigan and uses 2-4 oz sinkers and 4" type stick baits.
However, this blank has found a place in custom rod builders shops as a great base for deep water ice fishing for Lake Trout and other game fish.
