The Ice Hopper 48 Tubular glass blank is a 47.25” fast taper blank that uses high performance materials and manufacturing processes to deliver a premium blank with great performance characteristics. We designed this rod blank for our Dead Lift Thru Blank custom rods that we sell in our store. But this rod can be used for traditional Rod builds as well as thru blank builds. It’s fast taper allows the savvy builder to get multiple applications by simply trimming from either end of the blank. That’s what makes Rod building fun!
This blank loads smoothly and performs more like solid glass blank with the light weight of a tubular graphite blank.
